4" Posts are recommended for gates over 20 square feet in size, especially when an operator will be used.
6" Posts are advised for all gates over 47 square feet.
Swing gates that are 48" wide or smaller are self-closing. Hardware is included. Swing gates larger than 72" are available, as well as Cantilever Slide Gates and Estate Arched Gates - contact Customer Service.
