Adjustable wall mount castings are used wherever a fence must attach to a post or a wall at an angle greater than or less than 90 degrees. Standard posts may also be used with slight angles. Deck mount castings are a strong, attractive way to mount posts on top of a deck or wall. The post fits between the internal brackets and the base plate and is set into place with screws. NEVER use deck mount castings with gate posts or fences over 48" tall, as they will become unstable after prolonged use, and try to use them on only 5 consecutive posts or less if possible. Sturdier welded plates are also available.
